What I collect

Two tools tell me how the site gets used: Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics. They see which pages you open, the site that sent you, your rough location by country, the kind of device you're on, and which Amazon links you click. Trail Gear Picks has no accounts, and I only learn a name or an address if you write to me.

Cookies

Google Analytics needs cookies in your browser for that. Google covers what happens to the data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Vercel Analytics works without cookies.

Block or clear cookies in your browser settings if you like; nothing on the site stops working.

Amazon links

Links to Amazon carry my associate tag so Amazon can credit a purchase to Trail Gear Picks. When you get to Amazon, it can set cookies of its own, covered by Amazon's privacy policy.
